August Baby Show A "Bundle of Joy" for Four Lucky Babymoon Winners
The 26th edition of the Baby Show was held at the ASB Showgrounds in Auckland on the 16th-18th August.
This three-day event full of bumps, babies, buggies and bargains saw an estimated 12,154 people attend the show. Many of the visitors were expectant new parents or existing parents looking to make the most of having hundreds of pregnancy, baby and toddler suppliers exhibiting their products and services all in one place.
Six of AHG NZ’s dealers jumped on board to exhibit at the Baby Show, following a successful and fun event earlier this year in August.
Auckland Motors Mitsubishi, Manukau Hyundai, John Andrew Ford, John Andrew Mazda, North Harbour Ford and North Harbour Mazda joined forces under the AHG banner to showcase nine of our most popular vehicle models across the Group.
The Hyundai Santa Fe and Mazda CX-5 displayed on the AHG stand inside the show were by far the ‘show-stoppers’ of our vehicles, with many visitors remarking on their space, safety and comfort features that make them great choices for family cars.
AHG’s presence at the show was a soft-sell, no pressure environment focussed around keeping family safe on life’s journey. With vehicle requirements changing throughout life, we wanted to highlight the elements of utmost importance when upgrading to a family vehicle; safety, space, affordability and your family’s well-being.
A cafe-style break-out area on the AHG stand gave parents a sought-after time-out from the chaos of the show and the John Andrew Ford Kids Zone with remote-control ride-on Ford Rangers, kept children and parents alike entertained throughout the event.
AHG ran an exciting competition during the event where all scanned entries went into the draw to WIN 1 of 4 Babymoon NZ road trip weekends away in a new Ford, Mazda, Mitsubishi or Hyundai vehicle*. The prize included two nights’ accommodation for two people at the beautiful Copthorne Hotel and Resort in the Bay of Islands with daily breakfast and one three course dinner for two. Of course, the lucky winners also received the use of a brand new vehicle with a full tank of fuel to get them there in style!
