Holden announce gradual exit from New Zealand market
Holden has been a proud member of the Holden community for the past 67 years and we’re honoured to have shared our journey and love of the brand with our valued customers over this time.
We’re extremely saddened by the recent announcement that Holden will gradually exit the Australian and NZ markets later this year as they transition away from manufacturing right hand drive vehicles. No doubt this is upsetting news to hear, however we wanted to reach out to clarify what this news means.
Firstly, if you’re already an owner of a Holden vehicle you can take comfort in the knowledge that your ownership journey will continue to be supported with the same quality and reliability you’ve always enjoyed from Davie Motors Holden.
General Motors has committed to supporting the Holden brand in NZ for at least the next 10 years which means new vehicle warranties, Holden roadside assistance as well as genuine Holden servicing and parts, including the free service programme on eligible models, will continue to operate as normal.
Secondly, while Holden vehicles will sadly be discontinued for sale in NZ soon, there is still time for you to secure your very own piece of history before they go. As NZ’s largest Holden showroom, Davie Motors Holden will continue to have a great range of new, demonstrator and pre-registered Holden vehicles available for sale at fantastic prices, for as long as stocks last.
